How it works
One motor, out of the way. Inlets where you clean.

The dust leaves the room
The motor and the bag live in the garage, basement or utility room. What passes the filters is exhausted there, not blown back across the room you just cleaned.
More suction than you can carry
A portable vacuum is sized so you can push it. A central unit isn't. The InterVac Pro delivers 660 air watts from a unit that never leaves the wall.
Quiet where you are
The motor runs in another room. In the living room you hear the air moving through the hose.
Nothing to haul up the stairs
You carry a lightweight hose and wand. No machine to drag, no cord to swap between outlets.
Empty it far less often
The Pro's bag holds 2 gallons, many times what a canister holds, and it's sealed when you change it.
Sweep dirt straight into the wall
Add a VacPort at the toe-kick: sweep, tap the door open with your foot and the dirt is gone. No dustpan.

The VacPort is a sweep inlet that sits in the toe-kick under a cabinet or at the base of a wall. Open the door with your foot, the vacuum starts, sweep the dirt in, and it goes straight to the bag.
It needs a 24 V low-voltage supply, so it fits most brands of piped central vacuum, not just ours.

InterVac hoses and tools are 32 mm. They fit 32 mm inlet valves from other brands, including Beam and Husky. Kits start with a 35+ ft stretch hose and a telescopic wand.
What is a central vacuum?
A vacuum built into the house. The power unit and dust bag mount in a garage, basement or utility room, 2 in. tubing runs through the walls to inlet valves, and you plug a lightweight hose into the nearest inlet to clean.
Can I add a central vacuum to a house that's already built?
Yes. Tubing is usually run through the attic, basement or closets, and inlets go on interior walls. If you'd rather not run any pipe, the UltraVac and Mini are self-contained: the hose plugs into the unit itself.
Which size do I need?
Match the unit to your square footage: the InterVac Pro covers homes up to 3,000 sq ft, the UltraVac and Ultra Pro about 1,500 sq ft, and the Mini and Mini Pro up to 900 sq ft. Use the finder above for a quick pick.
Will InterVac tool kits fit my existing central vacuum?
Most likely. InterVac hoses and tools are 32 mm and fit 32 mm inlet valves from other brands, including Beam and Husky. They do not fit 35 mm systems.

What's the warranty?
Two years on vacuum units and 30 days on accessories. Use genuine InterVac bags and filters: non-genuine bags and filters void the warranty.
