A VacPort is a sweep inlet built into the toe-kick. Open the door with your foot, the vacuum starts, and you sweep dirt, crumbs and pet hair straight into the system. No dustpan.

Does the hose plug into a VacPort?
No. A VacPort replaces the dustpan: open the door, the vacuum starts, and you sweep dirt into it. The hose plugs into an inlet valve.
Will a VacPort work with my central vacuum?
It works with most piped central vacuums. It needs a 24 V AC or DC low-voltage supply at the switch; on 24 V DC the wires may need reversing. It does not work with self-contained units such as the UltraVac or Mini.
Where should I put it?
Kitchens, mudrooms, entryways, laundry rooms and at the base of stairs. Anywhere you'd reach for a broom.
Can I add one to an existing house?
Yes. Watch the retrofit video: the VacPort goes into the toe-kick and tees into the nearest tubing run.
